Vicki spent all of her adult life as a professional musician. She played in many bands, traveled, and taught lessons and workshops. She is adept on piano, violin, and guitar.
In 2019 she was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame with her longtime associates, The Motherfolkers.
Vicki’s introduction to the Colorado mountains came first on horseback, skates and skis, and later on as a hiker and backcountry skier.
Beginning to want to capture what she was seeing she tried photography, with a very small idea that someday she would like to paint. Eventually when she retired she tried painting, first with pastels, then with acrylics, and eventually oils.
Painting every day, she is gratified to be able to share some of the magnificent places she has seen.
